One of my *favorite* go-to recipes for my crockpot is my Easy Peasy & Creamy Mushroom Chicken. This is always a hit with the kids, and it is also one of my favorite things to take to new moms during their birth recovery. It’s very simple with frugal ingredients – and is delicious. This makes it very attractive for feeding a large family. What more could you want?
Serves ~ About 10
1 – 3lb bag of frozen, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup sour cream
3 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 packet dry onion soup mix
In the bottom of the crockpot. combine the soup, sour cream and onion soup mix by stirring together. Add the frozen chicken and push down into the sauce. Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or high for 5-6. That’s IT! It is delicious served over rice with a hot, green vegetable. Our preference is green beans. Enjoy!!
